Project Manager


TDI Technologies, Inc. (TDI) has an immediate opening for a Project Manager who will provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership for the Ocean Survey Program (OSP) at SPAWAR Systems Center (SSC) in Point Loma. The incumbent will provide management and supervisory experience for TDI technical employees on site at SSC as well as provide Program Management support for the US Navy customer conducting annual hardware and software upgrades for the OSP shipboard systems.

Responsible for managing multiple tasks or a single large project that includes coordination with team leads to control and complete a project while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management for TDI tasks and employees related to technical writing, software development, cyber security, configuration management and training.
  • Report to US Navy Program lead with the project progress so s/he present to the sponsors with any critical path the project may encounter.
  • Develop PowerPoint briefings and technical papers for the US Navy Program lead to provide project status.
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, budgets, schedules, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • May also perform high-level technical services on assigned tasks.
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to Program lead on task workload and activities.
  • Plan and implement projects.
  • Assist with defining the project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Monitor and report project progress.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Minimum ten years of experience, required, including five years supervisory experience; in lieu of a degree, and additional five years of related work experience may be substituted.
